There are many different forms and uses of astrology, ranging from financial and mundane, to predictive, horary, and karmic. New Paradigm astrology views the birthchart as a picture of your subconscious, a blueprint of your soul. It differs from other approaches in that it takes this blueprint as a stepping off point into the deeper layers of your psychic/spiritual soul. It says that we evolve through our emotions, through feeling them, processing them and integrating them. That this evolutionary process involves quieting the mind, getting out of the head, and into the emotional and physical bodies.
In this sense, New Paradigm astrology is not predictive, we are not concerned with particular future events but with the underlying cause of all the events of our lives. We identify this underlying cause as the projection of all our suppressed feelings going back lifetimes, that appear to be coming toward us from the outside world. We view the outside world as a mirror reflection of our unconscious soul and take it as our purpose to cleanse, release, and renew ourselves, thereby tapping into the highest levels of our soul/spirit awareness. Astrology functions as the map while our desire functions as the fuel to power our physical/emotional vehicle to our next level of awareness.
This is the New Astrology of the Heart. Astrology used for the soul purpose of awakening the heart. We see the planetary patterns as revealing the blockages within our energy system (chakras), that once cleared will allow for the maximum flow of energy (prana), to awaken us to our ultimate cosmic source/soul/spirit. Astrology is the map, but our physical body holds the keys to awakening. We use yoga, stretching, breathwork, and meditation to therapeutically integrate the emotional complexes and patterns of lifetimes on planet earth thereby freeing our spiritual Self.
This is Experiential Astrology. Only so much can be gleaned from the writings and ideas shared on this website. Please use it as an introduction and inspiration to develope your personal practice. This astrology is emerging, and as such, this website will be expanding. It is a work under construction so please return often for further tools and insights into the workings of your astrology and how it can illumine your life path.
This is the Astrology of Health, of Wholeness, and of Well-Being. Its roots lie in the knowing that we are infinite spiritual beings having an earthly experience. That we are multi dimensional beings inhabiting a 3 dimensional physical form in a dualistic, polarized reality. As such, we are here to experience the negative as well as the positive, the dark as well as the light, the sadness as well as the joy in order to fully KNOW ourselves. Our birthchart shows us where we have feared to tread, what we have avoided and denied and therefore lost the balance, or wholenss of our being. By recovering, experiencing, and accepting our WHOLE self we allow for transformation to occur bringing with it the magical, mystical healing that can fill our lives with Truth. |
