During these times of accelerated change the question occupying most people’s minds when they come for a reading is what’s the best thing to do? It is a question that can go both ways: one is “how can I best handle what is coming at me”, and the other is how can I best move forward on my soul’s path of evolution. Based upon the current and future planetary positions between now and 2012 (and beyond) I will address these questions on the levels of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. PHYSICAL: On the physical level these times call primarily for attention, discrimination, simplification, and responsibility. With Saturn, and Pluto moving through the earth signs of Virgo and Capricorn there is a big focus on grounding or manifesting our ideals in very real and concrete ways. The time for idle chit-chat, speculation and living in the realm of ideas (ideals) is over and will not cut it anymore. 1. On the most personal level this means it’s time to get your physical body together. It is time to eat, exercise, work, and rest as you inwardly know you should. That means to stop procrastinating, indulging, excusing, and avoiding taking better care of yourself. Your body is the home of your spirit and your senses are the primary instruments through which you interact with the world. As with any instrument, it must be cared for, tuned, and “warmed up” to sound the best. Through these changes it will become increasingly important to “tune in” to more subtle frequencies or intuitions. The heavier, more clogged with toxins and impurities you are, the less able you will be to awaken to these inner realms and the more distracted you will be by bodily upsets and health issues taking your attention away from pressing priorities. 2. Tune in and listen to what your body is trying to tell you. Your body is constantly giving you signals and messages as to what is good for you. The right and wrong food and drink, the right and wrong relationships and “friends”, right and wrong use of sexuality, right down to the right and wrong physical places to hang out, work, and play. Through taste, hearing, smelling and touching as well as seeing and inwardly feeling, your body is, in many ways, the best guidance available to anyone. Trust your body, it never lies. 3. Next is your immediate surroundings, your home and family environment. This environment in many ways is a reflection of your inner life, your emotional stability and needs. Is it run down? Cluttered? Dirty? Falling apart? Is it organized? Clean? Beautiful? Is it warm with feeling and cozy or sterile, barren, and cold? The coming years ahead will challenge us all to simplify our lives and that begins with our homes, our consumption, and our waste. Are you wasteful of energy and resources? Are you a consuming glutton relying on physical comforts and products for a sense of inner fulfillment, joy and happiness? Do you compost, recycle, use less energy, have a garden, eat organic? These practices will come more naturally as you align yourself with the natural laws governing the sustainability of life on this planet and as you emerge out of narcissistic, self centered consciousness toward becoming more and more responsible. As we evolve through Capricorn we become ever more responsible for promoting “Life” in all it’s forms which includes protecting, sustaining, and assisting others including the animal, plant, and mineral realms. 4. These times will bring important decisions to the foreground regarding your career and vocational paths. These will differ for each individual but a few things pertain to all. Pluto moving through Capricorn says that it is time to actively express the truth of who you are in the workplace and in the world, that you can no longer compromise your integrity to “fit in” or “live up to" the expectations of external authority figures or past belief systems. As this spills into the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects more will be mentioned below. The physical aspect of it is activating your will to get up, go, and push! Hopefully, you remain, or stay in shape enough to have the physical energy and drive to manage the changes that need to occur in your life and you “Seize the Day!” EMOTIONAL: 1. Pluto, as god of the underworld, demands that we “feel our feelings”, and it going through Capricorn from now until 2023 symbolizes that there will arise within you, deeply ingrained patterns and childhood judgments about just who you are and the right to be just that. Authority issues will be arising between employees/employers, partners and spouses, parents and children, individuals and churches, governments etc. When dealing with “who’s in charge, who’s in control” issues the main point to remember is to stay centered. That includes taking responsibility for creating the confrontation in the first place (however unconsciously) which reduces the need to blame others. Take in and reflect on what the external environment is offering you (feel it and get to the roots of it). Respond from your own truth which will not be a projection of a persecution complex onto others and will not allow you to be toppled by other’s projections onto you. 2. One underlying theme as we break from the old Patriarchal Paradigm into the new is the integration of spirit/matter, objective/subjective selves, upper chakras/lower chakras, masculine/feminine. Recalling that the old paradigm was one of suppressing the latter: matter, subjective, lower, feminine nature, we have all been conditioned to ignore and devalue our inner process/feelings. Pluto brings these suppressed and avoided feelings to the surface to be dealt with and processed. The advice then is to “feel your feelings” and if that means getting mad, get MAD! Stop putting the lid on what you feel as that only distorts it and misplaces it and creates more anger at yourself and others. 3. Our past memories, both conscious and unconscious, from this and other lives, will be filled with feelings of loss, rejection, betrayal, and abandonment. As such we can tend toward suspicion, becoming invulnerable, maintaining control, lacking trust, and fearing intimacy. As these feelings arise in both new and existing relationships it is important to both heed them (and go slowly), and move through them, releasing the stifling grip they hold upon you. The key to balancing these feelings is Cancer, which is to become your own mother, nurture yourself and become emotionally self-sustaining. As you mature your own emotional nature you will naturally become less reliant on others to always be there for you and you will not need to manipulate them nor cave in to their manipulations. One motto would be to establish relationships based on want, not need, as you have all that you need at any given moment in time and your want is to evolve through relationship. We can become emotionally addicted to relationships when we make them more important than they really are. It’s time to get down and get basic in our emotional neediness department as we grow in our spiritual life to an awareness of the ever sustaining nature of “Life”. 4. Go Slow. Capricorn, the external world, and our head move quickly, speed things up, and move toward goals at an ever quickening pace. Our emotional bodies take time to process our life experiences so we can evolve our whole consciousness. Do not get swept into the cultural stream of faster is better and neglect your inner emotional needs, family bonds (extending beyond the genetic), and home. We evolve through our emotions not our heads, and we will be increasingly experiencing how having all the answers is not enough. MENTAL: 1. We use our intelligence to gather information, evaluate it, communicate it, judge whether it is accurate, true, and applicable and incorporate it into the rest of our lives. One tendency when confronted with rapid, accelerated change, and an unknown future is to fall back into past patterns of judgment and discernment. We can become rigid in our behavior and closed in our minds. The challenge will be to remain open during these times, to not fear the new and unknown possibilities presenting themselves and to retreat to old, former attitudes and lifestyles that once held security. 2. These times will require ever more discernment as destabilization will cause fear and stress levels to rise creating ever more power struggles. Different individuals, groups, religious institutions and governments will increasingly attempt to manipulate you through misinformation, propaganda, lies and deceit in order to maintain and fortify their positions and power. It will become increasingly important to carefully watch and read all forms of media and sharpen your internal “truth gauge” to decipher the “bullshit factor” behind the words and images. The internet will become increasingly more valuable as main stream media sources become more biased and controlled by power managers. 3. “Nothing is as it seems” is a quite relevant statement during these times. We will be increasingly exposed to the “higher laws” that govern our existence. As such, it is important to remember that there are laws upon laws upon laws, and it is our personal responsibility to align ourselves with the TRUE, natural laws of existence as opposed to manmade, social or religious laws that are out of alignment with “Life”. Many convincing arguments will be made, scientific “facts” used, and intelligent strategies utilized to disempower individuals on all levels. It is important to both remain open to new information while not getting “sucked into” someone else’s scheme, misinformation, or false reality. 4. Pluto has moved from Sagittarius into Capricorn reflecting an evolution from believing to “knowing”. This is further emphasized by Neptune remaining in Aquarius into 2012. In many ways these indications point to a time of reaching the limits of human intelligence and needing to implement many new ideas into forms that will assist the development of the greater whole (and not an elite few). As these technologies, inventions, and theories are implemented we will increasingly see the fallacies and illusions we have been living under. Faith and hope which may assist us temporarily in dealing with our daily challenges can be replaced with a knowledge of the laws of life which will remove our personal egoic delusions, reveal objective truth, and assist us in creating lasting, secure structures on all levels. Life will constantly be showing you what is true by what lasts through time. As you study life and the natural laws of existence you can replace your faith and hope with knowledge of God, Truth, or Life (same thing). SPIRITUAL: 1. God, Creator, or Source can also be referred to as “Life” or “All That Is”. “All That Is” is all that is. There is nothing outside of “All That Is”. This is another way of saying that everything we touch, taste, hear, feel, sense, and think both exists within and is a part of God, Creator, or Source (or any other name used). As we expand our awareness of Creation we will necessarily accept aspects of our physical, sexual, emotional, and mental expression that have hitherto been judged, condemned, stifled or seen/felt to be just “wrong”. It is time to open our compassionate hearts, and this begins with self acceptance and the realization that we are an evolving aspect of an evolving God. There is no fixed ultimate “end” to be achieved but a continuous process of unfoldment from one moment of perfection to a different, future moment of perfection. 2. “Awakening” will include an awareness that we are more and more responsible, as co-creators for the welfare and continuance of “Life”. We become more and more “agents of Life” and less and less out for ourselves as separate, individual entities. This approach to living will allow us to feel more a part of evolution than a victim or martyr, sacrificing ourselves for the good of others. We will more and more relate to unity consciousness wherein the line between ourselves and others begins to diminish. 3. There are a variety of spiritual practices through which a deeper awareness of Self, Life, and Love can be gained. These practices will vary from individual to individual but what will be common among practicitioners is that over time and through practice these will become easier and a more integral part of your life/identity. It is important to maintain a disciplined focus regarding your personal practice and not be distracted or pulled away from it by “in the moment” seemingly important (but really tests) intrusions. |
